About Me

Hi, I'm Dana, and I’m glad you’re here! I'm a senior portrait photographer located in Orlando, FL. If you are reading this page, you’re most likely the parent of a high school senior, so I want to take a moment to introduce myself to you.

I love to travel and am fascinated by people and their cultures. I spent 7 years living in Bangkok, Thailand, and speak Thai fluently.  Count me in if you want to go out for some pad thai or spicy panang curry! I'm happiest roaming city streets with my camera or having coffee with a close friend. Like many artists, I’m an introvert, and I’m OK with that. Being a quiet observer serves me well in what I do.

In addition to running my senior portrait business, I’m also a 5th-grade teacher. My most important job, however, is being “Mom” to four young adults. Anyone who thinks late nights and sleep deprivation for parents ends when a baby sleeps through the night hasn’t hit the teen years yet. Life feels like one crazy, busy blur, but I wouldn’t change a thing!

Like me, most parents wear many hats and juggle many responsibilities, yet at the heart of things, our kids remain our most important work. I’m honored when a parent trusts me to capture authentic images of their child. My sessions are fun, resulting in joyful, timeless images you will treasure.

I know your life is busy, so I do all the heavy lifting — from helping you choose the perfect outfits to designing custom albums and ready-to-hang artwork for your walls. I pride myself on my attention to detail. I take a limited number of clients each month, giving me the time to create high-quality custom artwork for each one.

Please take a look around my site. If you’d like me to create artistic portraits of your graduating senior, drop me a line below, and let’s start a conversation.

I’ve been published nationally in Click Magazine and Shots: The Quarterly Journal of Black and White Photography and featured on many online sites.

As a mom to four young adults, I’ve walked through the crazy, wonderful whirlwind of senior year four times.
